S.S Rajamouli’s Baahubali collects 500 Million in Indian Domestic Market on first day: Thanks to the impressive trailer, S.S Rajamouli’s mangum opus is booked in advance for the entire weekend. The massive collections were expected for the film since the dawn of the Karan johar’s involvement in the project.
But, what no one predicted the collections this huge. The film raked in 50 crore on the first day itself. These are the highest ever first day collections. Not even the all time greatest hit ‘PK’ made such kind of collections.
The action drama film, Baahubali is so far the most expensive film ever made in India! Directed by S. S. Rajamouli and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the film is made on a BIG budget of Rs. 250 Crores approx.
Baahubali’s opening of 500 million on the first day is the highest gross ever for any film in India. With the weekend already fully booked, the movie is gathering up pace on all ends to rake in the massive collections.
According to the predictions, the film will reach the 150 crore mark (Domestic+ Overseas) in this weekend.
