Salman Khan’s hit and run case: Hearing adjourned for two weeks

Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Monday has adjourned the hearing of hit and run case of Bollywood actor Salman Khan for two weeks, according to reports.

On May 6, the sessions court has convicted the actor Salman Khan on several counts including culpable homicide not amounting to murder in the 2002 hit and run case.

Earlier, the court had fixed the hearing of Salman Khan’s appeal against the conviction on a daily basis from September 21.

At present, the actor is busy shooting for his upcoming film “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya. The film is scheduled to hit screens this Diwali. After that, the actor will join the shoot of “Sultan”, which is slated for a release during next year’s Eid.
