Mumbai: Icon of Indian cinema, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was snapped doing seva at the Golden temple as a part of her upcoming film “Sarabjit“. The actress is busy shooting in Amritsar for the biopic on Sarabjit Singh, who was convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court.
Being directed by Omung Kumar, the actress joined the devotees in washing the dishes, cleaning the floors and cooking for at the temple. The crew of the movie filmed several such scenes at the temple.
Based on the life of slain Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, the film features Aishwarya Rai as his sister Dalbir Kaur and Randeep Hooda in the title role. At present, the regular shooting is underway at Wagah Border and is progressing well at a rapid pace. The biographical picture is slated to release on May 19, 2016.
