Mumbai: Controversial ‘God Woman’ Radhe Maa stirred a controversy in the country. Recently, the sensational photographs of Radhe Maa surfaced online and she faced severe allegations against her. Though, she has enough following in Bollywood, many decided to remain silent over the issue and a few others voiced their opinions for and against Radhe Maa.
One among them is an acclaimed singer, Sonu Nigam. Sonu is a religious person and he chose to defend Radhe Maa on micro-blogging site Twitter. He questioned the rules and compared them with male saadhus in terms of behaviour and dressing. He even compared ‘God Woman’ Radhe Maa to Kaali Maa. With such tweets, the 42-year-old singer faced severe criticism on social media platforms.
On Twitter, Sonu wrote, “Just my 2 pence. Kaali Maa is depicted in lesser clothes than Radhey Maa. Interesting that this country wants to sue a woman for her clothes.”
“Men Saadhus can walk naked. Dance embarrassingly, but it takes a rape charge to put them behind bars. So much for Gender equality? :)”
“Wanna sue, sue the followers… Sue YOURSELVES.. For making them God men and women. Setting different rules for men and women, not fair.”
