Hyderabad: The movie makers of “Baahubali – The Beginning”, SS Rajamouli and Shobu Yarlagadda are all set to head to the prestigious film festival, Cannes 2016. The movie will be screened AT Palais K at the Marche Du Film venue in Cannes and they will be leading a panel discussion at the festival, which will take place from May 11 to May 22.
The director is expected lead a discussion on virtual reality (VR) at the Marche du Film, a film market event taking place alongside the festival.
A statement read, “The director of the film, producer along with Raja Koduri, senior vice president of Radeon Technology Group (RTG), AMD, will lead a panel discussion titled Increasing the Intensity and Scale of Epic Film Experiences through VR at the NEXT Pavilion.”
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the “Baahubali – The Beginning” is a sensation in the Indian cinema. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in major roles, the film emerged as a blockbuster at the box office. Currently, the makers are busy with the second installment titled “Baahubali – The Conclusion”.
