Munich: A man stabbed a person and injured three others with a knife at German railway station on Tuesday. Eye witnesses said he was “an apparent Islamist motive”. Police said the man had slashed four people around 5am at the station in the town of Grafing east of Munich.
According to the police, the man shouted “Allahu Akbar” (God is Great) during the attack. The police spokesman said “a political background cannot be ruled out,” adding that the man arrested was “not very cooperative”.
German media said police had arrested the perpetrator and that the victims were men. Police were not immediately reachable for comment when contacted by Reuters.
