Hyderabad: Telugu actor J V Ramana Murthy passed away on Wednesday. He was 83. The veteran actor breathed his last in the city at a hospital. He was undergoing treatment for heart related ailments in the hospital.
Born on May 20, 1933, Ramana Murthy began his career as a theatre artist and then bagged fame as ‘Gireesham’ of Gurajada Appa Rao’s “Kanyashulkam”.
He worked in over 100 movies. Few of his films include “Maro Charitra”, “Ananda Bhairavi”, “Aakali Rajyam”, “Gorintaku”, “Batasaari”, “Shubalekha” and others.
