Mumbai: The accused Indrani Mukherjea and his former husband Sanjeev Khanna strangled Sheena Bora to death, according to reports. It is heard that Sheena was kidnapped from Bandra’s National College and then she was strangled to death by her mother Indrani and step father Sanjeev Khanna. Their driver Shyam Rai reportedly held her legs tightly while she was being killed.
The culprits combed Sheena’s hair and also applied lipstick on her lips so that police and authorities at toll did not suspect anything, while taking her to the dumping spot in Raigad. They made her look like she was fast asleep, according to reports.
The vehicle, which was involved in the murder, was a silver coloured Chevrolet Optra. The vehicle was traced and its registration number is MH-O1 MA 2605. After the murder, the vehicle had three different owners and their statements have also been recorded.
It has been confirmed that the bones found at the dumping spot belonged to a woman aged between 20 and 25, according to reports.
On the other hand, Indrani’s husband Peter Mukherjea was quizzed for the whole day on Friday at the police station at Khar.
