Music director Aadesh Shrivastava passes away

Mumbai: Music director Aadesh Shrivastava, who was battling cancer, passed away on Saturday at around 12.30 am in a hospital. He was 51.

Dr Ram Narain of Kokilaben Hospital said, “Mr Aadesh Shrivastava 51 years old expired at 12.30 am on 5th September 2015 in Kokilaben Hospital due to cancer.”

The music composer had been in the hospital fighting cancer for over 45 days. He was undergoing chemotherapy.

On Friday, Aadesh’s brother-in-law said that he has been undergoing treatment but he is not responding to it. He added that the doctors have an alternate theory and they are trying their best.

Aadesh Shrivastava is one of the popular musicians in the film industry. He scored tunes to films “Rajneeti”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham”, “Chalte Chalte”, “Baghban”, “Baabul” and others.

The demise of Aadesh shook the Bollywood fraternity. All the stars are pouring their condolences over the loss of the composer.
