Most people thought President Trump was the only one capable of making a fool out of himself in public, but one of our very own decided to take up the challenge. Justice Mahesh Chandra Sharma from the Rajasthan High Court created quite the stir on the internet with his views on how a peacock and peahen mate.
The Justice said in his argument regarding making the cow the National Animal, “The peacock is a lifelong Bhramachari (celibate.) He never has intercourse with the peahen. The peahen pecks on the tears of the peacock to get pregnant. That’s how she gives birth to a peacock or a peahen.”
He further declared, “This is why Lord Krishna also wears the peacock feather. This is why the peacock feather is used by sadhus.”
The Rajasthan High Court wants the cow to be made the National Animal in place of the tiger. They are also recommending to give life imprisonment for cow slaughtering.
It was Justice Sharma’s last day at work when he made this ridiculous statement. News channels have been mocking the Judge ever since. A number of people gave their sarcastic remarks on Twitter about the Judge. One of them being the hilarious comedian Tanmay Bhatt from AIB. He posted a picture of a peacock and peahen mating with the caption, “Rare image of peahen drinking tears.”
