A man was stabbed to death by two other people at Delhi’s Nangloi, the police revealed on Wednesday. The victim stopped them from taking drugs in a public toilet that led to the fatal action.
Rahul was a 21 years old and owned a toilet complex in Punjabi market and lived in Mundka.
He arrived at the public toilet and found three to four men taking drugs. Earlier, Rahul’s mother tried stopping the same men and got thrashed.
Rahul was furious that they continued to take drugs in the toilet and asked them to leave. The men left at that moment but returned to get their revenge.
According to the police, Rahul was stabbed multiple times by the men and when his mother tried to intervene again they beat her up.
The commotion attracted the attention of locals and they rushed to the spot. The attackers immediately fled the place. Rahul was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead upon arrival.
The accused were caught and the weapon used to stab Rahul was also recovered, a Buttandar knife.
On 27th May, an e-rickshaw driver was beaten to death by Delhi University students. The men were offended when the auto driver asked the accused not to urinate on the wall of the public urinal. The victim also offered them money to use the public urinal that generally charges Rs. 2. The accused were arrested by the police.
