
Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reinstated the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, a monthly radio address aimed at connecting with the citizens of India. Addressing the nation after assuming office for the third consecutive term, Modi expressed gratitude to the voters for re-electing the NDA government. He termed the 2024 general election, where over 650 million people cast their votes, as the world’s largest election.
During the broadcast, Modi introduced a new initiative titled “Ek Paudhe Se Naari Shakti Ka Samman,” encouraging citizens to plant a sapling in honor of their mothers. He emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and honoring maternal figures through this campaign.
Ahead of the upcoming Olympics, Modi urged the nation to support Indian athletes by using the hashtag “Cheer4Bharat.” He expressed confidence in the athletes’ abilities to perform exceptionally well in the upcoming games.
‘Mann Ki Baat’ serves as a platform for the Prime Minister to communicate directly with the public, sharing messages of national importance and fostering a sense of unity and collective responsibility.
