New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for obstructing housing projects for the poor in Delhi, stating that while he himself does not own a house, his dream is to ensure every underprivileged family has a home. Addressing an election rally in Dwarka, Modi accused AAP of using Delhi as an ATM for its political gains instead of working for the people.
Modi alleged that AAP is blocking the Central Government’s housing schemes, preventing the allocation of affordable homes built for the poor. “Those who built palatial homes worth crores cannot understand the pain of the poor. A BJP government in Delhi is needed to fulfill their dreams,” he stated.
He further vowed to launch a corruption probe against AAP once the BJP forms the government in Delhi. “We will hold the looters accountable, recover what they took, and present the CAG report in the very first Assembly session to expose AAP’s scams,” Modi declared.
Meanwhile, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has accused Haryana’s BJP government of conspiring to increase Yamuna river pollution to influence elections. He claims ammonium levels have mysteriously spiked, but due to AAP’s intervention, they are now declining.
