On Thursday night, Rahul Gandhi gathered a huge crowd of people to Sangareddy. The Congress Vice President questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao about the promises they made which they haven’t fulfilled.
Rahul Gandhi attacked them on the grounds that they promised employment before the elections yet the country’s unemployment is at its worst in the past 60 years.
He has urged Narendra Modi and KCR to stop making hollow promises and start setting up factories to increase employment in the country. Rahul Gandhi also implied that if they weren’t up to the challenge, Congress would.
It was the first time in three years that Congress managed to get such a huge crowd in Telangana.
Rahul Gandhi also reminded people that Modi promised 2 crores jobs to the youth in the country, while KCR promised one job per household. He then criticized both the politicians by saying they have not even managed to give one job per village.
The Congress VP lashed out at KCR still not being able to help in the continuous suicides of farmers. He also reminded the public of KCR’s lavish lifestyle while people remain unemployed, specifying about KCR’s Rs. 350 crore house, “No leader in India or abroad has spent such a huge money on his house.”
Rahul Gandhi’s visit would have been successful for him but for the locals who were traveling to work suffered the consequences. The politician arrived at Begumpet Airport that resulted in a bumper to bumper traffic for hours after he left.
