Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has presented its budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the Legislative Assembly. Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka introduced the comprehensive bill, detailing a total budget of ₹2,91,159 crores.

In his budget speech, Minister Bhatti Vikramarka outlined the major financial elements:

  • Capital Expenditure: ₹33,487 crore
  • Tax Revenue: ₹1,38,181.26 crore
  • Non-Tax Revenue: ₹35,208.44 crore
  • Share of Central Taxes: ₹26,216.28 crore
  • Central Grants: ₹21,636.15 crore
  • Proposed Loans: ₹57,112 crore

He announced the revival of Nizam Sugar as part of the state’s economic plans.
