
Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has presented its budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the Legislative Assembly. Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka introduced the comprehensive bill, detailing a total budget of ₹2,91,159 crores.
In his budget speech, Minister Bhatti Vikramarka outlined the major financial elements:
- Capital Expenditure: ₹33,487 crore
- Tax Revenue: ₹1,38,181.26 crore
- Non-Tax Revenue: ₹35,208.44 crore
- Share of Central Taxes: ₹26,216.28 crore
- Central Grants: ₹21,636.15 crore
- Proposed Loans: ₹57,112 crore
He announced the revival of Nizam Sugar as part of the state’s economic plans.
