Mukesh Ambani addressed the 42nd Annual Reliance AGM, and announced the JIO road map and explained his plans for having a customer serving broadband service which will enable Indians to stay connected to the internet always. “JIO is about affordable, high quality and abundant data, enabling digital life for digital India,” said Mr.Ambani. He also drew attention to the fact that intelligence is of two kinds, and when 6 million brains are connected to the internet, it is connected intelligence where a smartphone connects them to the internet with an always available network. Reliance JIO is a smart simple and secure way of bringing people together.
“JIO is not about Reliance but about you” adds Mr.Ambani as he explains how one of the goals of Reliance and JIO is partnering with various companies and aiding new start-ups and encouraging the youth to bring in the change. Reliance is closely associated to “Make in India” and “Digital India” and works aggressively towards connecting the youth to data, and help them be on par with the world. Reliance JIO will enable people to stay connected to the internet at an affordable price where they will be able to embrace and win the digital race and will experience a whole new digital economy in our Nation.
“Everything that JIO believes and does is driven by this future, where every Indian can say with JIO life is digital and life is beautiful,” says Mr.Ambani and affirms that JIO digital is presented for the Nation. Mr.Ambani takes pride as he narrates how Reliance has always worked for the betterment of the Nation and has fulfilled its promises till now and what they have now is their best ever, but he also promises and commits to being better in the coming future. With the launch of Reliance JIO he promises and appeals that “from 5th September India will change forever” and invites the Nation to come and participate in this change.
