Islamabad: As many as 19 militants and seven soldiers were killed in an attack between militants and security forces on Sunday night in North Waziristan. The gun battle took place along the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Military spokesperson Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said 19 terrorists including five of their commanders were killed in the attack in uncleared pocket of North Waziristan. He added that when they militants were chased by security forces, one of them exploded his suicide jacket, that killed seven soldiers.
