Hyderabad: Here are few real life stories of couple of Hyderababi girls who were taken aboard and have forced into prostitution. According to the research carried out most of the private agencies who have sent them abroad have taken the advantage and manipulated the innocent.
Recently, a girl hailing from Karimnagar who had gone Oman to work as a domestic servant was only payed half the amount which was earlier promised to her by the owner.Her employer paid her only Rs 9,000 instead of Rs 20,000 per month and was forced into flesh trade. She was rescued by Oman officals.
In an other situation a girl from Hyderabad who went to Malaysia was initially given a waitress in Ipoh city, but soon her boss forced her into prostitution business. The teenager was rescued with two other women working at the hotel. The employers were arrested by the police officials.
Yet, in an another tragic incident, Asima Khatoon, from Hyderabad passed away in Saudi couple of days back after she sustained chest pain. The deceased was a divorcie who went to Riyad by paying Rs 1.5 lakh to a private agent on a visit visa but was actually employed as a domestic worker. Two months back Asima called her mother complaining that her sponsor is physically and mentally harassing her. Her mother lodged a complaint with Rain Bazar Police and a letter was also written to NRI Cell, Govt. of Telangana. Govt. wrote a letter to Indian Embassy, Riyad but no action was taken.
