A statement from the Kensington Palace confirmed that Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting their third child.

The Duchess of Cambridge cancelled a Royal engagement because of morning sickness on Monday that led to the announcement.

Like Kate Middleton’s first two pregnancies she is suffering with severe morning sickness known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

The palace statement read, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

It is general procedure to announce the pregnancy at 12 weeks but due to the Duchess’ sickness the announcement was made earlier as she missed an official engagement.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have two children Prince George who is four and Princess Charlotte who is two. Kate dropped a hint about her pregnancy back in Poland last month. She was given a gift for newborns to which she responded, “We will just have to have more babies.”
