Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is intensifying its investigation into Irrigation Department AEE Nikesh Kumar, with ongoing searches at his residence in connection with a disproportionate assets case. Officials began the searches early this morning, around 6 am, and are conducting operations across 30 locations, including the homes of Nikesh Kumar’s relatives and close associates.
So far, authorities have uncovered significant assets, including vast agricultural lands, luxurious buildings, and farmhouses. In addition to real estate holdings, the search has revealed the presence of kilograms of gold. The total market value of the assets discovered is estimated to exceed Rs. 150 crore.
ACB officials have stated that the full details of the assets will be disclosed after the completion of the searches. The investigation continues to uncover the extent of Nikesh Kumar’s alleged illegal wealth.
This case marks a significant step in the fight against corruption in the state’s government departments. The ACB is expected to take further action based on the findings of the ongoing investigation.
