Vijayawada: K Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is expertly managing the demands of his political career alongside his passion for acting. While fulfilling his duties as Deputy Chief Minister, he is also gearing up for the much-anticipated release of his historical film, Harihara Veeramallu. After facing several delays over the last three years, production is now back in full swing on a specially designed set close to his home.
Following his party’s notable loss in the 2019 elections, Pawan Kalyan revealed that he turned to filmmaking to support his political endeavors. He released Vakeel Saab in 2021 and has since been focused on both Harihara Veeramallu and another project, OG. However, the political landscape in Andhra Pradesh shifted significantly after the arrest of former opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu in September 2023.
With the political climate heating up and the 2024 elections on the horizon, Pawan Kalyan paused his film shoots to spearhead the Varahi Yatra, a statewide campaign initiative. Following predictions of a sweeping victory for Jana Sena in 2024, he embraced his role as Deputy Chief Minister, taking on crucial tasks such as revitalizing the Panchayati Raj system and championing the preservation of Sanatana Dharma.
Despite his busy political agenda, Pawan Kalyan remains dedicated to completing his film projects as promised to the producers. He reportedly balances his government responsibilities during the day while reserving his evenings for film shoots. In a recent Facebook update, he shared a selfie that showcased his demanding routine of juggling governance and film production.
Pawan Kalyan’s unique combination of roles as a political figure and actor has captured national attention, with many admiring his dedication to both arenas. The release of Harihara Veeramallu is anticipated soon, marking yet another significant achievement in his diverse career.
