Jaipur: Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, has responded to the recent cases filed against the Adani Group and its subsidiaries in the United States, emphasizing the resilience of the organization. Speaking at the 51st Gem and Jewellery Awards in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Adani expressed confidence that every challenge the group faces only strengthens its resolve.

“Many of you are aware of the allegations in the US less than two weeks ago. These challenges are not new to us. Every attack we face makes us stronger and becomes a stepping stone for further growth,” Adani said. He reiterated that no violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) or attempts to obstruct justice have been proven against the group.

Adani also criticized the rapid spread of misinformation in today’s world, adding, “No action has been taken against any individual in the organization. Lies spread faster than facts, but our success and resilience speak louder.”

The comments follow allegations by New York federal prosecutors that Adani’s subsidiaries paid $265 million in bribes to secure solar energy contracts worth $2 billion over 20 years. Adani Green Energy has also been accused of raising $3 billion fraudulently through loans and bonds.
