AP Government Sets New Reforms for Village and Ward Secretariat Employees, Aims for Educational Excellence

Amaravati, Today: Gram Ward Secretariats Minister Dola Sribala Veeranjaneyaswamy has assured the public that no employee will be dismissed due to rationalization. Speaking at a press conference, the Minister clarified that staff in village and ward secretariats are being reorganized into three divisions to improve service delivery. He held a meeting with trade union representatives who revealed that many employees are considering transfers to other government departments. Community leaders also requested that ward welfare and educational secretaries be made partners in Panchayats, while engineering and energy assistants be integrated into their respective departments, and planning secretaries be included in town planning initiatives.

The Minister further stated that the government will review vacancies and adjust postings accordingly, including additional measures for Secretariat Women Police after consulting the Women, Child Welfare, and Home Departments. A committee will be formed to suggest comprehensive solutions, including the implementation of PRC guidelines, service rules, and promotion channels for highly qualified aspirants.

In a related announcement, the Minister emphasized the goal of achieving a 100 percent pass rate in social welfare gurukulas and hostels in the upcoming ten and inter exams. He underscored the government’s focus on student health and safety and congratulated BR Ambedkar Gurukula students, urging them to study hard and fulfill their dreams.
