Vijayawada: Bansidhar Bandi, Vice President of Steel Exchange India Limited, has been appointed as the Co-Chairperson of the ASSOCHAM Andhra Pradesh State Development Council for 2024-25. This announcement was made during the recent joint meeting of the ASSOCHAM Telangana & Andhra Pradesh State Development Council in Hyderabad.
Mr. Bandi was welcomed by Kataru Ravi Kumar Reddy, Chairperson of the Telangana & Andhra Pradesh State Development Council and CMD of AXIS Energy Group, along with Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Co-Chairperson of the Telangana State Development Council and Founder-CEO of CtrlS Datacenters.
Expressing his gratitude, Bandi said, “It is an honor to be appointed as the Co-Chairperson for the Andhra Pradesh chapter of such an esteemed industry body. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow council members, industry peers, and the Andhra Pradesh government to foster industrial growth and represent the state’s entrepreneurs at the national level.”
Bandi brings extensive experience in the steel, energy, natural resources, and circular economy sectors, having worked with both NITI Aayog and the private sector.
Established in 1920, ASSOCHAM is India’s oldest apex chamber, with over 4,50,000 members, including significant representation from MSMEs. The chamber advocates for various industries and aligns their needs with national growth aspirations through its national and regional sector councils.
The ASSOCHAM Andhra Pradesh State Development Council aims to enhance sectors such as steel, marine, aqua, MSME, hospitality, tourism, agriculture, and food processing by engaging with the government and industry leaders.
