Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has outlined a vision for a self-sustaining, technology-driven temple ecosystem, blending faith and modern governance. Speaking at the International Temples Convention and Expo-2025 (ITCX-2025) in Tirupati, he emphasized the economic and cultural significance of temples.

The event saw the presence of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Goa CM Pramod Sawant, Union Minister Sripad Yesso Naik, TTD Chairman BR Naidu, and ITCX founder Giresh Vasudev Kulkarni. Naidu termed ITCX as the “Maha Kumbh of temples”, with participation from 1,581 temples worldwide, 685 virtual attendees, and 111 speakers.

Highlighting the ₹6 lakh crore temple economy, Naidu recalled TDP founder NTR’s Annadanam scheme and the Pranadanam initiative, which continues to fund life-saving efforts. He announced plans to build Lord Balaji temples in every Indian state capital and major international cities.

Naidu also stressed AI-driven temple management, RFID-based crowd control, digital governance, and enhanced security measures. To promote religious tourism, a Temple Tourism Committee will be established. The Dharmika Parishad will be strengthened, and ₹134 crore has been allocated for temple renovations.

Aligning with PM Modi’s Viksit Bharat-2047, Naidu projected India’s rise as a global economic powerhouse. Concluding, he urged devotees to embrace India’s spiritual and technological strengths, chanting “Namo Venkatesaya! Govinda Govinda!”
