Amaravathi: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the need for technology integration to provide fast and efficient services to the public. In a review meeting with officials from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and other departments, he urged them to use platforms like Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) and WhatsApp to streamline administration and service delivery.
The CM directed officials to design systems enabling citizens to access caste and income certificates via WhatsApp. Public grievances should be resolved swiftly using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and DeepTech, while RTGS must monitor complaint resolutions and gauge public satisfaction. He stressed integrating visuals from drones, CCTV cameras, satellites, and IoT devices for effective governance.
Highlighting innovative uses of technology, Mr. Naidu pointed to the identification of ganja plantations using Google Maps and drones. He suggested using similar techniques for detecting crop pests and analyzing road accidents.
Mr. Naidu also prioritized improving Aadhaar services by sanctioning ₹20 crore for 1,000 Aadhaar centers in village and ward secretariats. Additionally, he proposed a new web portal by January 1 to resolve issues in issuing birth and death certificates, managed jointly by Panchayat Raj and Urban Development departments
