Amaravati: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials to develop a comprehensive plan for improving public services through the Real-Time Governance (RTG) system. Visiting the RTG Centre in the State Secretariat on Tuesday, Naidu emphasized the need to utilize this platform more effectively to benefit the public.
This was Naidu’s first visit to the RTG Centre after assuming office. The RTG system, launched during Naidu’s previous tenure, had been neglected under the YSRCP government. During the visit, Naidu reviewed the centre’s performance and held discussions with the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police (DGP) at the Central Command Control Centre.
Naidu directed all departments to leverage RTG for managing key services like Aadhaar registration, vaccination tracking, school admissions, and other essential certificates. He stressed the need for policies to ensure the public receives swift and efficient services.
He also emphasized the role of RTG in handling sanitation, traffic, accidents, crime, irrigation projects, disaster management, and flood monitoring. The Chief Minister urged officials to prepare a 100-day project plan to expand RTG services using CCTV cameras, drones, and data analysis to ensure prompt justice and governance.
