
Hyderabad: The BioAsia Conference 2025 has commenced in Hyderabad with the goal of positioning Telangana as a global leader in health technology, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the prestigious event and highlighted Hyderabad’s growing stature as a global hub for life sciences.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized the city’s expertise in the sector and announced that Future City and AI City projects are underway. He also noted that Hyderabad has become India’s largest center for electric vehicles.
Revanth Reddy outlined the government’s vision of transforming Telangana into a $1 trillion economy by developing infrastructure in Hyderabad’s suburban areas. He highlighted the contributions of international institutions like Queensland University to the pharma sector’s growth and stressed that foreign experts are playing a crucial role in shaping the industry.
The state government is actively supporting MSMEs in the pharma industry while integrating AI, quantum computing, and robotics into the medical sector. The strong ecosystem in Hyderabad is attracting international companies, and Telangana continues to lead in job creation and employment opportunities, the CM asserted.
