New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Congress party of indirectly supporting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Assembly Elections. He alleged that despite the campaign reaching its final stage, Congress leaders have refrained from speaking against the BJP, raising suspicions about their intentions.
In a video message directed at Congress supporters, Kejriwal claimed that many longtime Congress voters continue to support the party out of habit, despite knowing it has no chance of winning. He also criticized the internal conflicts within Congress, citing their unexpected defeat in Haryana as an example of their weakened position.
Kejriwal warned that if Congress divides the opposition vote, BJP will gain power, leading to the dismantling of AAP’s welfare initiatives such as free electricity, Mohalla Clinics, and free bus services for women. He urged Congress supporters to reconsider their choice, emphasizing that voting for AAP is the only way to prevent BJP’s dominance in Delhi.
The political battle in Delhi continues to heat up as AAP and Congress struggle for opposition votes against BJP.
