New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh has urged Union Ministers to support the state’s IT sector and infrastructure development. Speaking to the media after a series of meetings in Delhi, Lokesh emphasized the need for swift implementation of business-friendly policies and pending projects.

Lokesh discussed key issues with various Union Ministers, including Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and requested expedited release of pending funds for Andhra Pradesh. He also sought assistance in strengthening infrastructure in educational institutions, underlining the state’s commitment to creating 20 lakh jobs through IT services, green hydrogen, and renewable energy expansion.

Expressing gratitude to the Centre for its package to the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Lokesh reiterated the state government’s focus on industrial growth. He criticized the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) administration, stating that the number of students in government schools had dropped from 45 lakh to 32 lakh during its five-year rule.

Lokesh reaffirmed the TDP-led government’s commitment to Andhra Pradesh’s development, dismissing detractors and emphasizing the state’s progress under the current administration.
