Pithapuram: Janasena leader and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan asserted that despite past electoral defeats, his party has emerged stronger, securing a historic victory in the recent elections. Speaking at the Janasena Foundation Day meeting in Chitrada, Kakinada district, he emphasized the party’s resilience and unwavering commitment to the people.
“We stood firm. We upheld our party and supported the TDP, which has a legacy of four decades. In 2019, when we faced defeat, they mocked us, harassed women, and jailed those who spoke up. But we overcame conspiracies, and today, with 21 MLAs in the Assembly, we have a 100% strike rate because we never backed down,” he declared.
Advocates for Multilingualism and Political Inclusion
Pawan Kalyan highlighted India’s linguistic diversity, emphasizing the need for a unified national doctrine that respects all regional identities. He urged Tamil Nadu and other states to embrace linguistic harmony while stressing Janasena’s deep-rooted identity in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Reflecting on his 11-year political journey, he credited revolutionary poet Gaddar and Central University professor Sripati Rama for shaping his ideological beliefs. He reiterated his desire to serve as an ordinary middle-class man, dismissing his film career as merely a path to politics.
