Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan addressed the Sandhya Theater stampede incident and actor Allu Arjun’s arrest during an informal media interaction in Mangalagiri. He emphasized the need for better coordination and humanity in such situations.

Pawan Kalyan praised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for supporting the film industry by allowing ticket price flexibility, which boosted collections for films like Salaar and Pushpa 2. He remarked that incidents like the stampede could have been avoided with proper security measures and better communication with the victims’ families. “It would have been better if someone from Allu Arjun’s side visited the victim’s family earlier,” he stated, expressing sadness over Revathi’s tragic death.

He defended Allu Arjun, urging people to avoid placing the entire blame on him. “Cinema is teamwork, and such incidents shouldn’t target one individual,” he said. Pawan Kalyan highlighted the importance of quality filmmaking, suggesting the development of storytelling schools and better infrastructure in scenic locations like Papikondalu and Vizianagaram forests to enhance the industry.

He concluded by calling for unity within the industry and a collective effort to ensure safety and quality in future endeavors.
