Tirumala: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board, chaired by BR Naidu, will hold an urgent meeting on January 31 to review preparations for the upcoming Rathasapthami festival. The governing council, comprising TTD members and officials, will evaluate arrangements to ensure seamless facilities for devotees.
During Rathasapthami, Lord Venkateswara will grace devotees on seven ceremonial vahanams, making it a significant event for pilgrims. In light of past incidents in Tirupati, TTD officials are implementing stringent measures to maintain order and ensure safety.
TTD has also announced key changes in darshan schedules to manage the crowd effectively. Sarvadarshanam tokens will be suspended from February 3 to February 5, and VIP break darshans, including those based on earned services and recommendation letters, will be canceled on February 4.
TTD Chairman BR Naidu is expected to provide specific instructions to officials regarding devotee facilities and crowd management to ensure a smooth and divine experience for pilgrims during this auspicious occasion.
