Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman Sri BR Naidu announced that extensive arrangements are being made to ensure a peaceful and hassle-free darshan for devotees during the ten-day Vaikuntha Ekadasi Vaikuntha Dwaram from January 10 to 19.
Inspecting preparations at Ramachandra Pushkarini on Saturday, along with TTD, municipal, and police officials, the Chairman urged devotees to maintain patience and cooperate with authorities.
He stated that TTD will issue 1.20 lakh Special Entry Darshan (SSD) tokens starting at 5 am on January 9 for January 10, 11, and 12. Tokens will be available at 94 counters, including 90 counters at eight centers in Tirupati and four counters at one center in Tirumala.
Arrangements are in place at Indira Maidanam, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Srinivasam Complex, Vishnunivasam Complex, Bhudevi Complex, Ramanaidu High School (Bhairagipatteda), Zilla Parishad High Schools (MR Pally and Jeevakona), and Tirumala Balaji Nagar Community Hall.
For January 13 to 19, tokens will be issued only at Bhudevi Complex, Srinivasam, and Vishnunivasam in Tirupati. Authorities have been instructed to ensure proper queue management, security, barricades, sheds, drinking water, and toilets for devotees.
