
Mangalagiri: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan met with citizens at the party’s central office on Monday evening to address their grievances. A large crowd gathered to submit petitions, including those wronged by YCP leaders, contract workers, and people from various communities seeking justice.
Kalyan assured attendees that he would speak with the relevant department officials to expedite resolutions. Among the issues raised were requests to regularize contract nurses, ensure equal pay for equal work, and appoint five staff nurses at primary health centers. Additionally, there were appeals for mutual consent transfers and insurance for contract nursing employees.
Mrs. Krishnaveni from Bhavarajupalem, Srikakulam District, reported that YCP leaders had seized and sold over half of her father’s one and a half acres of land. She sought Kalyan’s help in reclaiming their property.
Mrs. Somadula Kripa from Chodavara shared that her son was killed by friends and left on the road, but the police registered it as a suspicious death and closed the case. She requested Kalyan to order a thorough investigation.
Several women from Vijayawada’s Rajarajeshwaripet complained about lacking their own houses, ration cards, and single women’s pensions, seeking assistance from the Deputy Chief Minister.
