India Wins Bronze in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team at Paris Olympics

Paris: Adding another accolade to India’s achievements at the Paris Olympics, the duo of Sarabijot Singh and Manu Bhaker secured a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. The pair triumphed over South Korea’s Lee-Yejin with a score of 16-10.

This victory marks Manu Bhaker’s second bronze at these Games, having already clinched a medal in the individual 10m air pistol category. Her outstanding performance has set a new record, making her the first Indian athlete to win two medals in the same Olympics post-independence. The last athlete to achieve a similar feat was British Indian Norman Pritchard, who won two silver medals in athletics at the 1900 Olympics when India was under British rule.

India celebrates this historic achievement, which highlights the nation’s growing prowess in shooting sports on the international stage.
