Delhi: The Supreme Court has wrapped up the hearing on the attack case involving Chandrababu Naidu’s residence and the TDP central office. The case, which includes YSRCP leaders Jogi Ramesh, Devineni Avinash, and 20 others, was taken up following petitions challenging previous court rulings.

During the hearing, the government’s counsel argued that the accused did not seek bail or anticipatory bail for three years, only approaching the court after the change in government. The prosecution highlighted that the accused were aware of their wrongdoing and acted only after realizing that the new government could expose their actions. It was also noted that Devineni Avinash played a key role in the attack on the TDP office and that he has not been cooperating with the investigation.

The Supreme Court raised concerns over procedural violations, stating that Criminal Procedure Code norms were not followed. The court ruled that there was no reason to interfere with the High Court’s order and directed that Jogi Ramesh and Devineni Avinash must not leave the country and should fully cooperate with the investigation.
