
Mogiligidda: Telangana Chief Minister Revant Reddy announced a significant allocation of ₹21,000 crore for the state’s education department during his speech at the 150th anniversary celebrations of Mogiligidda Government High School in Rangareddy District. The Chief Minister, who was the chief guest at the event, revealed that ₹16 crore had been sanctioned for the development of Mogiligidda. He also announced the establishment of an advanced technology center in the region.
Reddy highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector, mentioning that 11,000 teacher posts were filled after his government took charge, addressing the previous administration’s failure to appoint teachers. He also pointed out that the DSC recruitment process, which would previously take years, was completed in just 55 days under his leadership.
He further criticized the previous government for neglecting universities, stating that during the previous administration, universities became rehabilitation centers. Under his government, Vice-Chancellors (VCs) were appointed, and the retirement age for professors was raised. Reddy emphasized that education is an investment in the future, not an expense, and reiterated his government’s commitment to improving the education sector.
