Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Revenue Minister Angani Sathyaprasad clarified that the case related to Agrigold lands was filed only after thorough discussions with authorities, asserting that all necessary evidence has been gathered. Speaking to the media at the secretariat on Tuesday, he emphasized that the government’s actions are backed by solid proof.
Sathyaprasad responded to criticism from Vaikapa leaders, warning that if the “red book” of irregularities were revealed, it would cause significant trouble for them. He highlighted that 75 percent of land-related complaints involve Vaikapa leaders, specifically pointing out Jogi Ramesh’s alleged land encroachment as being substantiated. The minister reiterated his party’s stance against illegal involvement in cases.
Sathyaprasad criticized the opposition for their provocative rhetoric, questioning their silence on caste issues when it suits them, particularly referencing the killing of Amarnath Goud. He firmly stated that no one is intimidated by threats and that those who have committed wrongdoings should be punished according to the law. The minister assured that the government will stand by the poor who have been wronged by the seizure of Agrigold lands.
