Chief Minsters KCR and Naidu offer special prayers at Godavari Pushkaralu

Pushkaralu is an Indian festival dedicated to worshiping of rivers. Both the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh personally looked after the arrangements and witnessed the Maha Pushkarulu.

Chandrababu Naidu Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh offered special prayers and took the holy dip at Rajamundry along with his family and few officials.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao started his morning with the early prayers at 6:30am by taking few vows at the holy river and took the holy dip with his family at Dharmapuri.

The Chief minister’s of both the regions aimed at the prosperity and the sustainable development for both the states in their prayers at the river Godavari, since it is considered as the “Maha Pushkaralu” which comes in every 12 years.
