Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan conducted a sudden public grievances session, “Jana Darbar,” outside the Janasena Party’s central office on Saturday afternoon. Noticing a large crowd gathered while returning from an assembly session, Pawan Kalyan decided to address the public’s concerns directly.
Pawan Kalyan, known for his popular “Jana Vani” public grievance program before assuming power, has a dedicated wing in the Janasena Party to manage public grievances. During this impromptu session, hundreds of people with petitions were allowed to meet him directly.
A particularly poignant case involved Sivakumari from Bhimavaram, who tearfully reported her minor daughter Ani missing. Despite lodging a complaint at Machavaram Police Station, Sivakumari claimed no substantial action had been taken, although authorities knew Ani’s whereabouts. Pawan Kalyan immediately contacted the Machavaram Circle Inspector and demanded swift action.
Representatives from various associations and individuals with disabilities also submitted their long-pending issues. Pawan Kalyan assured that his office would remain open to hear public grievances and that he would personally attend these sessions frequently. He announced that a dedicated help desk would operate daily in his absence to address the public’s concerns.
