Vijayawada: The State Deputy Chief Minister, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, has instructed officials to commence development works in every village immediately. He assured that there is no shortage of funds for panchayats since the coalition government took office.

The central government has allocated Rs. 1987 crores from the 15th Finance Commission and Rs. 4500 crores through NREGS in the first 100 days of the government’s tenure. This substantial funding ensures that there are no financial constraints for development projects in rural areas.

All officials have been directed to start development works in every panchayat from October 14th. A review meeting was held on Friday night with officials from the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development department to discuss the implementation plans.

To ensure transparency and accountability, the Deputy Chief Minister launched a website and dashboard to monitor the progress of these development works. Regular monitoring and inspection of the initiated projects will be conducted to ensure their timely completion and effective implementation.

The government’s initiative aims to create a festive atmosphere for the commencement of development works in villages. By celebrating the start of these projects, the government intends to raise awareness among the people about the funds allocated to their villages and the development initiatives being undertaken.

The government’s emphasis on timely execution, transparent utilization of funds, public participation, and regular monitoring ensures that these development projects will benefit the rural communities significantly.
