Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s supposed adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan has been on the run. But recent reports have revealed she plans to surrender before the Haryana and Punjab High Court on Thursday.
Pradeep Kumar Arya who is Honeypreet’s lawyer stated he has asked the “Papa’s Angel” to surrender before the court after running out of options.
The report was revealed two days after the Delhi High Court dismissed Honeypreet’s anticipatory bail plea.
Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal pronounced the order on her bail also noticed that the applicant was only aiming at getting more time by filing the plea.
It was also questioned by the Delhi court why she filed the bail plea here when she is originally from Haryana.
Justice Sehgal advised Honeypreet, “The easiest way out is that you surrender.” The Justice also questioned Honeypreet’s need to get a transit anticipatory bail for three weeks.
The Haryana Police have been on a manhunt for Honeypreet after being booked for instigating violence and attempting to free Ram Rahim from prison. The police conducted multiple raids over the past week but have been unable to catch her.
Speculations have been made that she has an insider who has been tipping her off about the raids allowing her to escape beforehand.
