Andhra Pradesh: A shocking video went viral in which Congress workers in Andhra Pradesh’s Kovvuru town have done an insane incident which has put the humanity to shame.
With an intention to impress the state Congress Committee president, N. Raghuveera Reddy, party activists tied live pigeons to fire cracker rockets and put them on fire. After releasing it, the rockets went up the pigeons fell dead, roasted in the intense heat of cracker fire high above.
The pigeons were stuffed into the cone shaped paper and sealed it tight. Their intention was to see the cracker burst high in the sky and the pigeons fly free, but due to intense heat produced by the cracker burst killed the birds and they fell to the ground.
An NGO, People For Animals has filed a complaint with the police and a FIR has been lodged against the state Congress unit citing cruelty to animals. However, the local Congress unit is yet to comment on the matter.
