Hyderabad: There are numerous Drunk and Drives cases that gets registered daily. Earlier, court gave a common Judgment for this issue, but there was no decrease in the number of drunk and drive cases.
So to resolve this issue the court has taken new measure, which will initially lead towards the betterment of the society. Court has introduced a new punishment to the drunk and drive case. The victims of the drunk and drive cases are ordered to do social service for three day.
This new punishment was implemented in Hyderabad by 35 members who were caught in this case. Goshamahal 6, Kachiguda 5, Sultan Bazar 4, Meer Bazar 4, Nallakunta 14, Tolichowki and Nampally 1 each, are the areas in Hyderabad, where the number of Drunk and Drive cases are registered.
The judiciary hopes that at least this new approach might bring a change, for those who are losing their valuable life in the accidents due to driving while drunk.
