Pedakakani: A tragic incident occurred in Guntur district when a car was swept away by floodwaters near Uppalapadu in Pedakakani Mandal, leading to the death of three individuals. The victims have been identified as Raghavendra, a school employee from Uppalapadu, and two students, Satvik and Maniklu, who were with him at the time of the accident.
The incident happened on Saturday morning after the school in Nambur, where Raghavendra worked, declared a holiday due to heavy rains. Raghavendra offered to take the two students back to their hometown in his car. However, while crossing a stream, the vehicle was caught in the strong current and swept away.
Local residents rushed to the scene and managed to pull the bodies from the car that had been carried away by the floodwaters. The incident has left the community in shock and grief.
