After all the drama that unfolded, Housing.com finally has an interim CEO. After firing company’s co-founder Rahul Yadav from the company, Housing began their hunt to find the CEO for their company.
After almost a week after Rahul Yadav’s exit, Housing.com might have found their man in the form of Rishabh Gupta, who is currently the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of SoftBank-backed portal. Along with Rishabh Gupta, Haresh Chawla and Abhishek Anand are also set to join the company’s core operating committee.
Rahul Yadav was sacked from the company on July 1st with immediate effect as the company thought his behavior was not befitting of a CEO. Post his exit, Housing.com witnessed all kinds of troubles, with the company website getting hacked by unknown users which also read “#rahulyadav #housingdown”
With just 2 years in business, Housing.com has grown exponentially in terms of success starting from from its original rent and resale proposition to include PGs and hostels, serviced apartments, land, plot projects, and new projects.
The company currently employs over 2,551 employees and has its presence in over 100 cities in India alone.
