For all you Moto fans out there, here is something that can make you happy. After speculations and a month long teasing of Moto X Play smartphone in India, Motorola has finally partnered with India’s e-commerce major, Flipkart, to exclusively sell its handsets online.
Emerging reports claim that a devoted page for Moto X Play, highlighted a countdown to the accessibility of the new Moto X Play smartphone in India. As indicated by the report, the countdown proposed, that the Moto X Play would go on sale on September 14, the coming Monday, at 2pm IST.
Motorola India has been talking about this device across its social media platforms. It tweeted on Monday that said “Tired of those hazy memories? Get hitched with a perfect partner with a 21MP rear camera.” It further shared a teaser video of the smartphone showcasing its different specifications.
The teaser has come out after almost two weeks since Motorola Moto X Play was spotted under the Zauba listings. Under that listing, the phone was priced at Rs. 22,228. The price, however, is likely to increase in the Indian market.
Moto X Play runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and sports a 5.5-inch display of full-HD (1080p) screen resolution. The phone is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor coupled with a 1.7GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with an inbuilt 16GB storage, which can further be expanded upto 128GB. On the camera front, the X Play sports a 21-megapixel sensor with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel snapper. Moto X Play has one of the strongest batteries of all smartphones with 3630mAh battery.
