Hamza, Osama bin Laden’s son is keen on leading the al Qaeda, stronger that before. Hamza who is estimated to be around 28 years old has sent a message to America and vowed to take revenge for his father’s death.
After the American raid in Pakistan, killing Osama bin Laden, the assaulting SEAL team brought back with them letters written by Hamza to his father.
Ex FBI agent, Ali Soufan, the former lead investigator of al Qaeda after the 9/11 attacks, spoke to CBS news and revealed Hamza’s letters showed his adoration for his father and promises to follow in his murderous ideology.
Ali Soufan also revealed one of the letters, “He tells him that… he remembers ‘every look…every smile you gave me, every word you told me.’”
Hamza’s letter also says, “I consider myself to be forged in steel. The path of jihad for the sake of God is what we live.”
The ex FBI agent also explained Hamza was recognized as a potential leader at a very early age. The boy was also used in a number of propaganda videos, holding a gun.
Mr. Soufan said, “He was a poster kid for the al Qaeda… and for members of al Qaeda, who were indoctrinated with these propaganda videos, he means a lot to them.”
The U.S., has named Hamza a Specially Designated Global Terrorist in January this year. The same title held by his father.
Ali Soufan also said how similar Hamza sounds like Osama bin Laden. “His recent message that came out, he delivered the speech as if it’s his father… using sentences, terminology that was used by Osama bin Laden,” explained Soufan.
In the last two years, Hamza has recorded four audio messages. “he’s basically saying, ‘American people, we’re coming and you’re going to feel it. And we’re going to take revenge for what you did to my father…Iraq…Afghanistan’…the whole thing was about vengeance,” said Ali Soufan.
In Hamza’s recordings, he probes al Qaeda followers around the country to join him in his crusade against America.
