Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has announced plans to run 6,100 special bus services for the upcoming Dussehra festival. These services are aimed at accommodating passengers traveling from various districts within Andhra Pradesh, as well as from Telangana, Chennai, and Bangalore.
From October 4 to October 20, 3,040 buses will operate before Dussehra (October 4–11), and 3,060 will run after the festival (October 12–20). APSRTC also emphasized that normal fares will apply to these special services, ensuring affordability for passengers.
In addition, APSRTC has introduced an advance reservation system for the convenience of travelers. Passengers who book round-trip tickets will receive a 10% discount. Furthermore, a 10% discount is also being offered on AC bus fares for routes between Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Tirupati.
